If Vick seemed truly committed to turning his life around and not getting involved in either a dogfighting ring or a gambling ring again, I’d let him play. But the standards for determining that would be pretty high. I wouldn’t just take his word for it, he’d have to actually do something to make me think he was really ready to turn it around.

I think first the commish has to look at not just the dog fighting and that cruelty, but the question of the gambling. Is it possible this gambling issue ever spilled over like when he would have a great game or a string of them. Then a poor game. I think this gambling issue he has needs to be very thought over by everyone.
Maybe he can again, the real issue is he up to it anyway.

The guy has done his time for the crime he was convicted for. If I was commissioner, yes, Mike Vick would definitely suit up again. The Commissioner is thinking long and hard about how much money just having Vick back would generate.
Also, if I were Commissioner, I’d tell the PETA freaks to eat a bag of ****, if they don’t like that he’s playing again…don’t buy a ticket.

I would have no problem with him playing again. He paid for his crime (more than he should have had to) and should be able to get a job just like anyone else. They allow people to play that have done much worse (Tank Johnson)

Yes. Like it or not the guy has almost “folk hero” status among the African American community. If he can get his head straight and redeem himself it’s a huge story for the NFL. On the flip side the league can handle the PR hit if his return is unsuccessful provided he isn’t nailed on another felony.

You people are the biggest fools and losers on this site. It’s not about dogs. It’s about robbing banks and prostitution rings. No one gave a shιt about the dogs. There is no law that says he wasn’t allowed to slaughter and eat those dogs. Why don’t you get a little educated.

Michael Vick is never gonna play in the NFL again. Any owner dumb enough to hire Vick will get the fuzzy end of the lollipop from PETA.

yeah i will let him play. He didn’t murder anyone he just “killed” a lousy dog . Who gives a crap, we kill animals in this world! I guess we don’t care about humans as much since stallworth ran over someone.

I think he should. I mean, Dante Stallworth killed a man a probably will play again. Vick is an exciting player and deserves a second chance to play and fix his reputation.

I think he deserves a 2nd chance. He paid his dedt to society and seems truely sorry. There definately should be conditions, like the comissioner tried to do with Pacman Jones.
